Once upon a time, two healthcare professionals had an inspiration that would help parents achieve health, respect and safety for themselves and their children. Assembling a team of educators, experts, researchers and developers, they created Birdees: an evidence-based educational App grounded on relevant, dynamic, and (most importantly) qualified information pertaining to sex education and sexual health.

The Birdees Weekly blog carries on the conversation where the Birdees App ends, providing useful parenting information on a weekly basis and keeping users abreast of the latest news and developments in the world of Birdees educational products. We achieve this in four ways:

Although there’s a wealth of Sexual Education resources out there, most parents are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of available information. Often, it’s presented in the wrong way as well.

Being a parent’s hard enough! That’s why we’ve created Birdees, an iOS App that facilitates two-way communication with fun, interactive tools, which teach parents how to educate their children so they can have healthy, respectful, safe lives. We know that everyone has a different way of learning, too. That’s why we offer a variety of tools that both parent and child can customize according to their needs. Currently, information is categorized for children ages 2-5 and 6-8 but modules for ages 9-12 and 13-15+ are coming soon!
